PNP and ACPI nodes are auxullary and may even go away if disabled (acpi=off). i8042 could enable wakeup when attaching to PNP nodes in drivers/input/serio/i8042-x86ia64io.h but: 1. Will this facuility be available for both PBPBIOS and PNPACPI? 2.
