------- Comment #11 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2007-08-05 07:08 ------- Please do. If the thinkpad-acpi bissect is finding the very first 2.6.23-rc1 commit, it means the fix is actually somewhere else, and we would have to do the very painful full-kernel bissect between 2.6.22 and 2.6.23-rc1 :-( It would also mean ACPI itself is broken, not thinkpad-acpi. Which is a lot more worrisome. I have found someone else which has this problem (AE_TIME, ACPI EC communications hung), but with very different behaviour, in a different ThinkPad model. Let's see if I can get him to add more data to this bug report, it might help us track it down. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
