Alexander,
If I read this bug report properly, the screaming interrupt
problem happens both with and without "acpi=off", as do
the data errors.  So this doesn't appear to be related to ACPI.

(now, you can try the 4 combinations of "acpi=off"
and "noapic" to disable the IOAPIC just to be sure it isn't
something funky about the interrupt configuration.
If it is the device or device driver, it will likely
fail the same way in all 4 configurations.)
