Please boot with "acpi=force" and verify that the system works properly.

Please boot with "acpi=off" "noapic" and verify that it fails per the initial
"ACPI on" experiments (actually, this is just PIC mode and has nothing to do
with ACPI).

Please attach the output from dmidecode.
