I wonder how much can be understood from comparing the (presumed) unaffected codebase and current codebase. I am now using xset r rate 1000 50 My raw sensation is that this does not really work around the bug, just reduces the probability of seeing it in action. Furthermore, the keyboard becomes less responsive.
