[EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|REJECTED |REOPENED Resolution|INVALID | ------- Comment #10 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-02-02 01:19 ------- I experimented some more and could track it to the "AM2 Boost" option. When I enable it, cpufreq does not work! This does not make a lot of sense to me, but then I do not know much about the way the kernel modules interact with the chipset... Apparently I had enabled that option at the same time when I upgraded the kernel, without remembering it now -- or, the older kernel versions worked even with that option enabled! That question is still unanswered. Maybe someone who knows how these things work could comment on it? Does AM2Boos necessarily disable cpufreq functionality, or should it really work? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
