i noticed 2 things:

1. you have vmware 3rd party modules loaded. that`s not part of mainline
kernel,so kernel is sort of tainted.  i would first make sure that these aren`t
loaded when further testing/analysing.

what clocksource is being installed after that message?
(cat /sys/devices/system/clocksource/clocksource0/current_clocksource )

i would recommend booting with a stable clocksource to avoid clocksource switch
at runtime - so you may boot with clocksource=acpi_pm or whatever is available
(/sys/devices/system/clocksource/clocksource0/available_clocksource ).
i have seen machines having problems when clocksource being detected unstable
and other clocksource being installed.
