test the debug patch
According to ACPI spec OS can use the optional ACPI reset mechanism to reset
the system. Fortunately on the laptop there exists the definition of ACPI
RESET_REG in ACPI tables.
Will you please try the debug patch and see whether the system can be
restarted?
Note: please add the boot option of "reboot=a".
