Do you mean that the fan can't be automatically started although the
threshold is reached after the patch in comment #41 and #45 is applied?
The patch in comment #45 will only turn off the Fan device in the boot
phase if the temperature is below the threshold. It doesn't care when and how
to turn on the device.
