------- Comment #17 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-08-26 20:45 ------- Generally speaking, the DSDT used by ACPI will reside in the ACPI NVS memory region when the system is in running state. After the system enters the sleeping state, maybe the system can't be resumed correctly if the ACPI NVS memory region crashes. (One laptop has such a problem. The SSDT table crashed after the system is resumed.) Since the custom DSDT is already used on the system, there is no such issue. But the system still fails to be resumed. Maybe the issue is related with BIOS. Will you please confirm whether the windows can work on this laptop? Thanks. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
