These words are used by the Marketing people, not the technical ones, I think. From what I can see, 1. it's true that P-state is supported on this system. 2. it's also true that only 2 P-states are supported. only hardware knows if this is right or not (it should be, IMO). Linux/ACPI just gets this info from BIOS, uses it and exports it to user space, that's all. So I don't think we have a bug on this system. :). what do you think? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
