------- Comment #12 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-09-02 02:43 ------- 1) It's not possible to remove processor module (each time "ERROR: Module processor is in use"). 2) I cannot compile kernel just to change this one & only option - it takes 5 hours on my machine. 3) What makes you think, that adding the desired option into /etc/modprobe.d/options isn't enough? I've checked that option several times already - it doesn't make anything better - and I really don't know, what do you expect. 4) What is a problem with bringing back the functionality, which was quite OK including 2.6.25(.2)? Just to bring back well-tested, fully functional code - and dispose of that new "improvements". -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
