so there are two problems here:
1. X can not be loaded when acpi video driver loaded first.
2. X freezes when unplugging AC.
right?
for the first issue,
1. what if you echo 0 >/proc/acpi/video/*/DOS before starting X?
2. after applying the video_detect code, what if boot with
"acpi_backlight=vendor"?
for the second issue,
please compile in the ACPI processor driver, and boot with
"processor.max_cstate=1".
