But are we POSITIVE that nothing can possibly depend on IRQ0 routing or thermal trip points BEFORE your code in 'early_quirks.c' gets run ? That's why I thought it might be better to move the early-quirks.c code to acpi/boot.c, since before ACPI boots, nothing can possibly depend on it.
