I tested 2.6.27, The LID, AC and SLEEP events are not reported in this version. Then I did the following things: - enabled DEBUG in /drivers/acpi/ec.c - booted into normal mode with parameters "acpi.debug_layer=0x00090004 acpi.debug_level=0x01f" - stopped acpid - stopped hald - executed "cat /proc/acpi/event" - pressed POWER button four times - pressed LID two times - unplugged and plugged AC two times - pressed the SLEEP button four times Result: only the POWER button event is reported. How can I get the latest acpi tree? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
