If i stay with this 'xrandr --output LVDS --set BACKLIGHT_CONTROL native' as before, the backlights starts changing its values automatically, slowly decreasing to around 10% then going up again and so on... Changing it to 'xrandr --output LVDS --set BACKLIGHT_CONTROL combined' made the gnome-brighntess applet work, now i can change brighntess with the function keys. Without the xrandr command i cant change brighntess...
