------- Comment #4 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-11-02 21:19 ------- Hi, Michael From the acpidump in comment #3 it seems that the RESET_REG_SUP flag bit is zero but there exists the definition of RESET_REG & RESET_VALUE. RESET_REG: Access_width : 8 Address: 0xCF9 I/O Port. RESET_VALUE: 0x06 It seems that this box can't be rebooted by writing RESET_VALUE to RESET_REG port. But if the system can't be rebooted by ACPI reboot, it will fall back to BOOT_KBD reboot type. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
