Will you please confirm whether the "CONFIG_ACPI_VIDEO" is enabled in kernel
configuration?
From the acpidump it seems that there exists the following ACPI object.
>_DOD, _DOS, _BCL, _BCM, _BQC object.
After the CONFIG_ACPI_VIDEO is enabled in kernel configuration, please
confirm whether there exists the interface of
"/sys/class/backlight/*/brightness".
