------- Comment #69 from denisius.s...@gmail.com 2009-01-04 18:54 ------- 1. cat /proc/cmos mcount=3, time=50311 2. echo 25 > /proc/cmos cat /proc/cmos mcount=25, time=aaaaaaaa 3. echo mem > /sys/power/state 4. Laptop has suspended, led started blinked(as usual) 5. I pushed Ente 6. Laptop started and in 2-3 seconds restarted with "black screen" (as usual) 7. I removed accum. And back it again 8. Press power on button, laptop started with CMOS checksum error 9. I press F2 to continue boot process. 10. cat /proc/cmos mcount=3, time=50311 .... So result as before echo 25 > /proc/cmos. Can it be because I removed accum during suspend or not? Or CMOS area work in volatile mode and has to store value "25" without loosing data? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
