------- Comment #17 from [email protected] 2009-01-16 23:29 ------- Hi, Giovanni Sorry that I don't make it more clear. From the test in comment #14 it seems that the box is shutdown by writing 0x3C01 to PM1A control register directly. But in fact the last step of shutdown is also to write 0x3C01 to PM1A control register, which is done in Linux ACPI. Unfortunately shutdown can't work well on the 2.6.28 kernel. Is the above clear? Will you please double check it? (Using the command of "poweroff"). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by: SourcForge Community SourceForge wants to tell your story. http://p.sf.net/sfu/sf-spreadtheword _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
