Hardware Environment: Mini ATX mobo with Intel Corporation Mobile GME965/GLE960
Memory Controller, Intel Celeron R 2GHz, 1 G ram.
Software Environment:
Problem Description: kacpi_notify chews up too much CPU.
Steps to reproduce:
a) Power up machine.
b) Run CPU intensive tasks with air holes blocked until machine heats up
significantly.
c) Reboot.
After reboot, machine comes up with kacpi_notify consuming about 60% of CPU.
