I never said it was a problem with switching between virtual terminals (vc1 to
vc9). It's a problem when switching to VGA output.

Fn+F5 enables VGA output, VGA+LCD or only LCD (default).
My laptop also has a tv-out port which I never tried but I think it's unrelated
to this bug though. I don't even know if it's the same key to enable it, the
button only says CRT/LCD, not TV.
