AFAIk that is the plan yes, Luca Tettamanti has recently send a patch for this to the acpi list and that has been reviewed and acked by 2 people. Also we (hwmon people) should then be merging Luca's atk0110 patch, Jean ? Jean: note I have a version of the atk0110 patch from Luca which has adjustments for some of the 2.6.29 acpi changes, which I've been using in the Fedora kernels.
