Ok, now to look to make a proper fix for this. I can't simply bodge all ACPI sleeps as was done in the last patch. We need to limit this munging to your broken laptops. To do that I need to know what they call themselves. So could those of you affected by this issue please add your dmidecode information to this bug and please make sure you tell me what you think your laptop is called too from a humans point of view.
