Could this have come back in the later 2.6.32 series? I've been running fedora
12 recently and between their last two kernels my laptop hangs if I close the
screen. The two kernels are;

kernel-2.6.31.12-174.2.22.fc12.x86_64
kernel-2.6.32.9-67.fc12.x86_64

Before Christmas I was running vanilla 2.6.32.2 and it didn't have this
problem. Nothing ends up in /var/log/messages this time.

What is best to do? Try a vanilla kernel? Turn on the debugging output as
described above?
