This problem has been occurring since at least 2.6.30. I sent a query to the
acpi list some time ago but didn't get any response and couldn't find any info
from searching around.
After booting, the following ACPI kernel messages appear and repeat
occasionally. All of the details about this system can be found in bug # 13148
