That sure would be cleaner and simpler than filtering entries. Is that correct? Robert: when you say "dynamic", do you mean that it can change after initialization or just that the BIOS changes it during bring-up? Example of my ignorance: I didn't realize that the number in the "Package (0x3)" notation was a count. I don't even know how to access that count in the C code.
