I don't know what Len's plan is, but there is even a possibility that the patch might get delayed until 2.6.35. We're pretty far into the -rc cycle for 2.6.34 and we're only supposed to be merging crashing fixes now. This isn't a crashing bug, it's just a warning and the kmemcheck option is mostly for debugging only. Then again, I think Len has some crashing bugs still left to merge so this might get included with those. Or maybe he'll let it sit in -next for a week and see if anyone complains. I don't know. I don't have to make any decisions fortunately.
