Hello,

I got a HP ProBook 4710 which comes with SLED 11 pre-installed (incl. 2.6.27)
and booting etc. worked fine. Switching to Arch Linux and 2.6.34.1 (64-bit),
however, the system won't boot unless provided with one of acpi=noirq, noapic
or nolapic, and the temperatures remain rather high. Problem is not present
with Arch's LTS kernel (2.6.32.16).

I'm attaching the outputs of lspci, dmidecode and acpidump (after booting with
nolapic), as well as the trace from dmesg after booting with nolapic (whether
it's relevant, I don't know - the system keeps running afterwards but it
doesn't appear with say acpi=noirq).
