--- Comment #96 from Joseph Booker <j...@neoturbine.net> 2010-08-27 16:57:32 --- Created an attachment (id=28151) --> (https://bugzilla.kernel.org/attachment.cgi?id=28151) Output of `dmidecode -u` on a Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5048 Not sure if I should start a new bug, but here is the output of dmi for my laptop. It would kernel panic with an ACPI-related stack trace unless I used acpi=off (acpi=ht, acpi=oldboot, and pci=noacpi would not change this), however, it boots with working ACPI using 2.6.35-19-generic from Ubuntu and the acpi=keep_dsdt option. Hoping this dump will allow others to have a better out-of-the-box experience. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sell apps to millions through the Intel(R) Atom(Tm) Developer Program Be part of this innovative community and reach millions of netbook users worldwide.
