/proc/acpi/battery was deleted from 2.6.36, so that is expected.

This information was moved to /sys/class/power_supply
a number of releases past, do you see it there?

But even if yes, it is a problem if you see these warnings
in dmesg, did you see them in previous releases, or is
this a regression?
