Summary: Wrong battery status: about a quarter of the actual charge is displayed Product: ACPI Version: 2.5 Kernel Version: 2.6.32 and later Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Tree: Mainline Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P1 Component: Power-Battery AssignedTo: acpi_power-batt...@kernel-bugs.osdl.org ReportedBy: andreasfack...@web.de Regression: No The battery state of my Notebook (Belinea o.book 1301) is not determined correctly. Usually after booting it shows a bit less than a quarter of the actual battery charge, e.g. 23% instead of 99% or 10% instead of 43%. Reloading the battery module with "rmmod battery && modprobe battery" solves the problem. Sometimes (randomly?) it does not occur at all. This happens at least since Linux 2.6.32 on Debian. I have also tried Linux 2.6.37-rc5 and several versions in between, all with the same result. The issue may be related to bug 14867 concerning the same hardware: My ac adapter also is not detected. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching the assignee of the bug. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Lotusphere 2011 Register now for Lotusphere 2011 and learn how to connect the dots, take your collaborative environment to the next level, and enter the era of Social Business. http://p.sf.net/sfu/lotusphere-d2d _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
