Well, I think the resume problem is related to the nvidia driver being used,
in which case I can't help you, because this driver is not supported by the
kernel developers.

You may get better results, as far as suspend-resume is concerned, if you use
the nouveau driver (still, I'm not the right person to ask for help with this
driver, because I don't use any machines with NVidia graphics).
