Summary: Lenovo Thinkpad W520 missing CPU sensors in Linux
           Product: ACPI
           Version: 2.5
    Kernel Version: 2.6.39.2
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
              Tree: Mainline
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P1
         Component: BIOS
        AssignedTo: acpi_b...@kernel-bugs.osdl.org
        ReportedBy: li...@mokfam.com
        Regression: No

Currently have the Lenovo Thinkpad W520 notebook using BIOS 1.22 and currently
it is only reporting one temperature. With BIOS 1.06 all the CPU cores report
their temperatures, as well as the temperature of the motherboard. Hoping to
see if this can be something that's corrected within the Linux kernel rather
than through Lenovo, as they seem unwilling to even acknowledge this as an
issue. Under Windows 7 all sensors report normally under both BIOS 1.06 and
BIOS 1.22. Not really sure how to go about obtaining any other info that may
be needed to troubleshoot this, but I am 100% committed in resolving this and
will do whatever is asked to delve deeper into this issue.
