Please run acpi_listen while clicking the Fn + brightness up/down keys to check
whether the even has been triggered for backlight changing.

After echo <number> > /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness, cat the
brightness and actual_brightness to identify whether the number has been
changed.

>Has anyone got an idea? I have tried with kernel 2.6.38.5, and with
>acpi_backlight=video, acpi_backlight=legacy and acpi_backlight=vendor but it
>still doesn't work.
>When acpi_backlight=vendor, the Fn + backlight up and down button just don't
>>work, and with the two others options, they work, but the backlight doesn't
>>change.

What meaning of "with the two others options, they work" with "but the
backlight doesn't change"?
