Same problem on my motherboard - Intel D865GBF. Last kernel, which
HyperThreading is can be used on my MB is 2.6.38.8. i do not check 2.6.39
kernel, but 2.6.39.1 brings panic with a big(two screens or more) log. This
panic can be avoided by using "acpi=off" or "nolapic" options, appended to
kernel line in bootloader. But when they are appended, HyperThreading is not
available :(
