--- Comment #9 from Feng Tang <feng.t...@intel.com> 2012-08-03 08:36:39 --- Created an attachment (id=76731) --> (https://bugzilla.kernel.org/attachment.cgi?id=76731) new gpe patch Hi Francesco, You already did a good job in testing kernel and providing the useful info. I guess Bob's intention is to compare both the working and non-working case. So could you try the new attached patch on a clean kernel without any of my previous patch, do the same test and provide the dmesg info? Also you can add "log_buf_len=4M acpi.debug_layer=0x1f acpi.debug_level=0x8000000c" to your kernel cmdline by change grub.conf/grub.cfg, so that you don't need to do the #echo 0x4 > /sys/module/acpi/parameters/debug_layer #echo 0x0800000c > /sys/module/acpi/parameters/debug_level. thanks, -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching the assignee of the bug. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
