I tried a bunch of different kernel versions and determined that the change
that lead to the boot problems happened between 2.6.33.7 and 2.6.34.  I also
noticed that I get the "ACPI Error: Found unknown opcode..." errors even on the
kernels that boot ok.  I'll add attachments of the boot messages the the 2
kernel versions mentioned above.
