Is there any news on this matter? Like mephisto said, even after "unppluging"
the battery, all problems goes back after a reboot.
I believe it's a serious issue, my laptop almost overheated because I believed
that it had gone to sleep after I closed its lid and put it inside my laptop
case, when I took it to use it was so warm that almost burned my hands.
Also I'd like to add that since kernel 3.6, my laptop does not shutdown
anymore, when I ask it to shutdown (unsing init 0 for example) it powers again
as if I have asked it to reboot.
