No, actually I haven't tried, I'm speaking from what I've read.

The cpufreq subsystem is not a hardware monitoring subsystem unfortunately.
Anyways, this argument isn't going anywhere, so I'll keep using the turbostat
utility as kernel developers cannot reach agreement on this petty topic. I've
got no hard feelings, I just want to sigh.
