Ayberk Özgür <equilibriu...@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |equilibriu...@gmail.com --- Comment #76 from Ayberk Özgür <equilibriu...@gmail.com> --- Adding acpi_osi='!Windows 2012' to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT in /etc/default/grub seems to have fixed the problem for me (linked to the solution given in the comments on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/acpi/+bug/971061 ). The fix seems permanent; after about 10 reboots and 15 sleeps, the battery's charge/discharge states are still detected correctly. On top of that, the keyboard backlight started and is still working too :) It adjusts the brightness automatically according to the ambient light. Adjustment from keyboard (Fn+F9, Fn+F10) still has no effect though. I am on the following configuration: -Samsung NP900X4C -Kubuntu 12.04.2 -Kernel 3.10.4-031004-generic -BIOS P08ABK -acpid-2.0.10 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching the assignee of the bug. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Learn the latest--Visual Studio 2012, SharePoint 2013, SQL 2012, more!
