I led to Kernel because i got also a changes in the battery charging limit default from 80% to 100%. i researched a bit and find out was handled by sony_laptop module.. i talked to the maintainer and he said the lid was not managed my the module but was indeed strange that the default was changed while no changes happened in the module since a while. Now i have another default for battery % chanrging limit and i can't override it if just echoing on startup.
