Just upgraded kernel from 3.13.19->3.14.1 and found backlight stays on full -
and
function keys do nothing.
Investigating, using function keys _does_ increase/decrease brightness values
in:
/sys/class/backlight/samsung/brightness
but backlight always remains on full and ignores these values.
I also have:
/sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness
but that value mysteriously always remains set at 12421.
Backlight control works perfectly on all 3.13.* series, including latest
3.13.10
