acpidump of Surface Pro 2
At startup:
$ cat /proc/acpi/button/lid/LID0/state
state: open
After closing the lid (touch cover 1 in my case) and opening it again:
$ cat /proc/acpi/button/lid/LID0/state
state: closed
The state remains as closed, and I can't use the laptop screen anymore when
having an external monitor plugged in. I have set the close lid action as "do
nothing" in Cinnamon.
