Starting with at least kernel 3.17.0rc4, the thinkpad extra buttons on an IBM
R31 are no longer functioning and remain unresponsive. On the boot-log, I
receive the message
ACPI: SCI (ACPI GSI 9) not registered
The same configuration (same user space) worked flawless on a vanilla 3.15.0.
