Messages with debug enabled.
Boot hangs with linux kernel 4.0.5+ after "Booting the kernel." message on the
eCAFE EC-800-H20G/S netbook.
With "debug" appended to the kernel line the last message displayed is "random:
nonblocking pool is initialized".
Booting with "acpi=off" allows the netbook to boot (but with limited
functionality of course).
Reverting commit b9a5e5e18fbf223502c0b2264c15024e393da928 "ACPI / init: Fix the
ordering of acpi_reserve_resources()" solves the problem.
I have attached a photo of the netbook's screen showing more of the messages
with "debug" enabled.
Please ask for more information if necessary.
Thanks in advance.
