Bug ID: 102281 Summary: Powerbutton not detected/handled on Dell Venue 11 Pro (7140) Product: ACPI Version: 2.5 Kernel Version: 4.2-rc5 Hardware: All OS: Linux Tree: Mainline Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P1 Component: Power-Other Assignee: acpi_power-ot...@kernel-bugs.osdl.org Reporter: jan.brum...@tabos.org Regression: No Created attachment 184301 --> https://bugzilla.kernel.org/attachment.cgi?id=184301&action=edit Power button handling for Dell Venue 11 Pro (7140) Currently the power button is not handled within linux. Although it is detected as ACPI power button it does not react on pressing it. Based on the patch for the Surface Pro 3 (https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84651) i've modified it for the DV11P and it works fine for suspend. After waking the device up, it boots through the firmware/bios which is under investiagion at the moment. This seems to be another problem, unrelated to this patch. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching the assignee of the bug. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ acpi-bugzilla mailing list acpi-bugzilla@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/acpi-bugzilla
