I am currently using Fedora 24 with Linux 4.8 on Lenovo G50-70. My laptop is
generating more heat than it did with kernel versions <= 4.7. I have Intel i3
4030u and Radeon R5 M230 discrete graphics card. Power consumption hovered
around 7-9 watts in kernels <= 4.7. With kernel 4.8, it is around 15-16 watts.
