Bug ID: 198587 Summary: Thunderbolt 3 → VGA adapter does not work anymore. Product: ACPI Version: 2.5 Kernel Version: 4.14.15-1-ARCH Hardware: Intel OS: Linux Tree: Mainline Status: NEW Severity: high Priority: P1 Component: Config-Hotplug Assignee: acpi_config-hotp...@kernel-bugs.osdl.org Reporter: bruno.n.pag...@gmail.com Regression: Yes When I try to connect to a VGA projector through a Thunderbolt 3 → VGA adapter, it does not work. It used to work the last time I had to do this, which was in May 2017, running linux 4.10 or 4.11. I’m opening this bug report against ACPI because this is what I see in my dmesg: – upon plug-in: [ 128.560281] ACPI Error: [SPRT] Namespace lookup failure, AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20170728/dswload2-346) [
