It seems that the touchscreen functionality does not currently work for this
newly-released laptop. The devices that fail to poweron are ELAN2514, WCOM48A0
and i2c-WCOM48A0. I have attached the dmesg output.

The drivers seem to be loaded, but I think it's not binding to the
hid-multitouch, due to failing to power on. I have i2c_hid blacklisted in order
to fix the trackpad on this device, but I had the exact same output from this
script with it enabled.

I have also checked under Windows 10 to see which devices and addresses are
actually inside the device. The bios device names used for the pen and
touchscreen under Windows are: \_SB.PCI0.I2C1.CPD0 and \_SB.PCI0.I2C0.TPL2

I was advised that this is a kernel issue and not a driver issue over at the
linuxwacom github:
